Yaksh and Yudhishthir      

 

In the Mahabharat scripture we find a Q&A session between Yaksh and Yudhishthir. Yaksh asked 60 questions which Yudhishthir answered with divine wisdom.  Some of the most beneficial questions and answers are given below:
Q:  What is that which, if renounced, makes one agreeable?
A:  Pride.
 
Q:  What is that which, if renounced, leads to no regret?
A:  Wrath.
 
Q:  What is that which, if renounced, makes one wealthy?
A:  Desire.
 
Q:  What enemy is invincible?
A:  Anger.
 
Q:  What constitutes an incurable disease?
A:  Covetousness.
 
Q: What is ignorance?
A:  Not knowing one's duty.
 
Q:  What is that which if controlled, leads to no regret?
A:  Mind.
 
Q:  What is the best of all possession?
A:  Knowledge.
 
Q:  What is the best of all kinds of happiness?
A:  Contentment.
 
Q:  For what may one be considered as dead?
A:  For want of wealth.
