Since yesterday, sadhaks have been celebrating the special occasions of Hariyali Teej and Naag Panchami. The monsoon festival of Hariyali Teej marks the penance made by Mata Parvati for Lord Shiva and teaches us that in order to attain the divine Lord, we must also practice devotion and make a strong effort to attain our goal of God realization. Just like Mata Parvati, we must never give up.

We can celebrate Naag Panchami in remembrance of how merciful and kind Lord Krishna is. His eternal protection for His devotees was shown so clearly when He removed the great serpent Kaliya from the Yamuna in order to protect them. Thank you dearest Lord Krishna!
