Words are a very
powerful tool. They can inspire or discourage. They can make the listener smile
or frown. Words can unite nations or push them to war. You can use words to
inspire someone to live or to put an end to his life. So, choose your words
carefully.
The power of words is so
strong that even years after their passing, we are anxious to know what words
the great leaders had spoken in their speeches. We draw inspiration from the
words of world leaders. How inspired we become when we hear the speech ‘I have
a dream’! The words will always be associated with MLK Jr. The words ‘Ask not
what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country’ remind
us of John F. Kennedy.
Caution should be taken
in not only speaking words but also in listening to them. After listening
to words you will most definitely think about what was said. Negative words
will inspire negativity; positive words, positivity.
The great spiritual
leaders from around the world create spiritual revolution through their heartfelt
words. When I listen to my divine master, Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji
Maharaj, the sheer truth and beauty of the words are so moving that they cause
a lump in the throat and tears in the eyes.
Use words to offer and
receive hope, encouragement and inspiration.
